For those about to rock: Songbird is an Open Source iTunes alternative which aims to be interoperable between Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
When I checked out Songbird 1.1 a few weeks ago I was quite astonished in the first place. It comes with a nice and shiny interface, it's fast and quite stable as well and, of course, there're various web-services like Shoutcast or Last.fm integrated. The only thing that Songbird 1.1 really lacked off was the non-existing equalizer, which is indispensable in my opinion.
